Bucky or Blaze: which bull fits your Fort Myers party?
Both mechanical bull rentals ride the same way, and both sit in a 15x15 ft inflatable arena. The difference is the arena. Bucky's arena is 8 ft tall and open to the sky. Blaze's arena is 15 ft tall with a roof that keeps the sun off your riders.
- Bucky The Mechanical Bull: Arena size 15x15 ft; Arena height 8 ft; Sun cover No canopy, open top
- Blaze The Mechanical Bull: Arena size 15x15 ft; Arena height 15 ft; Sun cover Roof that blocks the sun
When should I pick Blaze?
Pick Blaze for your mechanical bull rental when you want shade. The Fort Myers sun is strong most of the year, and Blaze's roof makes a real difference on a hot afternoon. Its tall Wild West arena also makes a great photo backdrop.
When should I pick Bucky?
Pick Bucky if the bull is going under a tent, if you have low branches or less room overhead, or if your party is in the evening or already in a shady spot. Still deciding? Call or text 239-299-0371 and we'll help you choose.
Who can ride the bull?
At every mechanical bull rental, anyone from age 2 to age 80 can ride, up to 250 lb per rider. The bull takes one rider at a time, so every guest gets a turn in the spotlight.
Can a 2 year old really ride?
Yes. For little riders, our operator can run the bull as slow as the old grocery store rides. For brave riders, we turn it up to buck wild. Every rider gets a speed that fits them.
Will the grown-ups want a turn?
Almost always. A mechanical bull rental is just as much fun for adults. Once the kids ride, the parents, grandparents, and coworkers line up, and the friendly bragging starts.
Why does every mechanical bull rental come with an operator?
Because the bull never runs without one. Every mechanical bull rental includes a trained Family First operator from the first ride to the last, and nobody rides or runs the bull without our operator. You get to host your party instead of running a ride.
The operator sets the speed for each rider, keeps the line moving, and can pause or stop the bull any time something isn't safe. The operator has the final say on who rides, and can turn away anyone who seems impaired.
Does the operator watch my other rentals?
No. Our operator is locked to the bull and runs only the bull. Plan a responsible adult for each of your other rentals. Want more help? Hire a second attendant from us to help guests with waivers or to run another rental.
How do you keep riders safe on a mechanical bull rental?
The inflatable arena helps cushion falls, and every rider must follow the operator's rules. Every rider also signs a waiver before the first ride.
What are the riding rules?
Riders follow the operator's directions at all times. The basics:
- No shoes on the bull. Riders also take off jewelry, belts, keys, and phones when the operator asks.
- No food, drinks, or sharp objects in the riding area.
- No flips, pushing, horseplay, or climbing on the inflatable walls.
- Wait outside the arena until the operator invites you in, and step out right away when asked.
Who signs the waiver for a mechanical bull rental?
Adults sign their own, and a parent or guardian signs for each child. Send our Mechanical Bull Release of Liability Waiver to your guests before party day, so the line moves fast.
What does my Fort Myers yard need for a mechanical bull rental?
Plan for a fairly level 18x18 ft spot and 3 outlets on 3 separate circuits, all within 50 ft of the bull.
- Space. Keep the spot clear of sprinkler heads, utility lines, glass, rocks, and sharp objects. We make the final call on the spot with you when we arrive.
- Power. Each one is a standard household outlet, but each needs its own circuit, so 3 outlets on one breaker won't work. We bring the blower and the cords.
What if my park or venue has no power?
Add a generator to your mechanical bull rental for an extra charge, subject to availability. Many parks and open fields have no outlets close by, so ask your venue before you book.
Can a mechanical bull rental go on grass, concrete, or a parking lot?
Yes. Every bull we set up is secured. On grass, we stake it down for free. On concrete, asphalt, or a parking lot, we use sandbags instead, which adds a fee.
Can I set up a mechanical bull rental indoors?
Yes. Bucky needs a ceiling of at least 10 ft, and Blaze needs a ceiling of at least 20 ft. Indoors, the bull still needs 3 outlets on 3 separate circuits.
Can a mechanical bull rental go under a tent?
Yes, with Bucky. Bucky's open top arena fits under a frame tent, and a 20x20 ft frame tent is the minimum size. A bigger frame tent also leaves room for seats and a cheering crowd. Blaze's roof makes it too tall for a tent, so set the tent next to Blaze: the tent shades your guests while the roof shades the rider. Add the 20 FT x 20 FT Frame Party Tent to your order.
Which Fort Myers events book a mechanical bull rental?
Any event where people love to cheer each other on. A few favorites:
Is a mechanical bull rental a good idea for a birthday party?
Yes. The birthday kid takes the first ride, then the whole party lines up for a turn. Kids and grown-ups both get in on the fun.
Is a mechanical bull rental fun for a graduation party?
Yes. Grads get one last bragging rights contest with their friends, and the family gets great photos and videos to keep.
Do Fort Myers companies book a mechanical bull rental?
Yes. Company picnics, team building days, grand openings, and employee appreciation events are a great fit. Keep a leaderboard of the longest rides, and watch coworkers compete.
Do schools, churches, and festivals book a mechanical bull rental?
Yes. Field days, fall festivals, church picnics, youth nights, school carnivals, and fundraisers all book one. People love to watch almost as much as they love to ride, so the bull draws a crowd and keeps guests around longer.
Can I plan a rodeo themed party around a mechanical bull rental?
Absolutely. Blaze's Wild West arena fits a rodeo or country theme and makes a fun backdrop for photos. Cowboy hats are welcome, but boots come off before riders climb on.
What can I add to my mechanical bull rental in Fort Myers?
Plenty. Build the rest of your party around the bull, and our crew brings it all together.
- Shade and seats. Add a tent rental in Fort Myers and tables and chairs in Fort Myers, so guests can sit in the shade and watch.
- A second big attraction. Our rock wall rental in Fort Myers lets 4 climbers go at once. It pairs very well with a mechanical bull rental for schools, churches, and corporate events.
- Snacks. Add a concession machine for popcorn, snow cones, or cotton candy.
- More fun. Browse foam parties, carnival rides, and all our party rentals in Fort Myers, from bounce houses to water slides.
How do delivery, setup, and pickup work for a mechanical bull rental?
Setup and teardown are included. Delivery is not included and varies by location, so send us your address or request a quote for your exact price.
For every mechanical bull rental in Fort Myers, a crew of two arrives before your start time, picks the spot with you, and has the bull ready in about 45 minutes. When your rental time ends, teardown takes about 45 minutes, and we load up and head out. We'll text you to confirm your delivery and pickup.
What should I send before delivery day?
Send us your gate codes, parking details, and venue access info before delivery day. That covers gated communities, HOA clubhouses, churches, schools, and office parks. If your venue has its own power or insurance rules, send those when you book.
What does the crew bring for a mechanical bull rental?
We bring the bull, its inflatable arena, the blower, and the cords, plus stakes for grass or sandbags for hard surfaces.
How long is a mechanical bull rental?
Every mechanical bull rental has a 3-hour minimum, and you can add hours. Bigger crowds need more riding time, so tell us your guest count on your quote request, and we'll help you plan.
Can I book a multi-day mechanical bull rental?
Yes. Multi-day rentals work well for festivals, fairs, and events that run more than one day. Bucky is our main multi-day mechanical bull rental. The bull must stay indoors or under cover overnight, and Bucky fits under a frame tent 20x20 ft or bigger. Blaze can work for multi-day too in an indoor space with at least a 20 ft ceiling.
